Inspire yourself… Today!

in·spi·ra·tion – 

a. Stimulation of the mind or emotions to a high level of feeling or activity.
b. The condition of being so stimulated.
For me, inspiration comes from people, pictures, quotes, words, animals, books or anything that kindles that spark in my brain. they make me laugh, think, cry, speak up, question and feel.

Inspiration is the driver of actions and lack of inspiration can explain the inactivity a lot of times. We have all been there and done that — days when we just wake up and don’t want to step out of the bed and start a new day. Some muse can resolve this problem.

Now the question arises, how to find inspiration on daily basis. Its simpler said than done. But here are a few ideas that work for me:

  1. Wake up early, and do something you like – read, write, paint, play with your puppy or anything you love to do
  2. Listen to peppy music 
  3. Meditate or pray
  4. Read inspirational quotes or stories or watch an inspiring video
  5. Take a long, relaxing bath
  6. Indulge in a fresh and healthy meal
  7. Go for a long walk without your iPod, listen to the sounds of nature
  8. Drink a glass of fresh water
  9. Talk to a happy person and smile
  10. Make somebody happy
